Owner / Designer - Munguia Shoes

Munguia Shoes started in 2011 with the purpose of using a traditional silhouette and incorporating a modern design to create men’s footwear. Inspiration came from the colors and textures of leather to create a modern shoe for the everyday man. 

Leather was sourced in Mexico at various trade shows. I was involved in the process from conception to production - sketching the design, making the sample, editing and refining the sample, and approval of the final product.

Once complete, shoes were showcased at trade shows and sold to boutiques and online retailers. Shoes were sold throughout the United States, Mexico, and Japan.
